Shri
Ramakrishna—A big failure!
Not interested in formal education. He did
not enter into a school. Why? He just could not convince himself to go to a
school. Education that teaches how to earn money is meaningless and stale to
him. Rather it was a barrier for him.
Not just that. He was not for learning a
skill or acquiring expertise, which would place him in the frontline of
professional blocks. People spend
millions to learn ‘expertise’ by getting admitted into top notch b-schools.
He was not at all good in communicating to
the masses. Public speaking in an impressive and convincing way was unknown to
Shri Ramakrishna. Yes, he would talk to a small number of people who would
gather around him for limited time and on designated days on specific or fixed
topics. He would never allow any of his visitors to get distracted.
Making money, building a lucrative career,
earning big name, staying in the news, raising up a large group of followers,
building up of an organization, building a cult, and all such things never
crossed his mind.
As if that was not enough. He would not
allow someone encashing on his reputation and making money. He banned his nephew for life from entering
in to the vicinity of the Kali temple just because his nephew was charging a
few coins from the visitors.
What did he possess? Just bare minimum. A
few cloths, which too someone would bring for him on request.
No bank balance!
Keep aside bank balance. Even if he would
come in contact of a coin by mistake or by chance or under a ploy played up by
someone to test his genuineness, his body would severely pain until the same is
removed.
Storing of food. No. Not at all. He would
partake the remaining of the food offered to his Mother Goddess Kali. Or, if
someone sometimes would invite him to home for a close conversation and then
offer him something to eat.
Why was he eating food? This is interesting.
Just to keep the body running. He knew quite well that the moment he loses
interest towards food, his physical existence would come to an end in just
three days from then.
How does the world know about Shri
Ramakrishna? A few people wrote about him and Swami Vivekananda spoke about him
under the guidance of Maa Sharada.
It is quite possible that Bharat has a
large number of such utterly failed
people about whom there is no information!
Jay Maa Kali!
